Weekend inspiration post #2

Good morning!
I thought I would post two weekend inspiration posts this week!

Todays layout was created by Kathy using the 'Soulshine' kit and a photo of her and her younger brother!

She started by using one of the gorgeous Blue Fern Studio papers included in the Main Kit.  She cut if in half, flipped it over and used the other half for the bottom, then stenciled using some modeling paste.  She lightly made some paint splatters around the focal center.  I used the Blue Fern Studios chipboard "Damask Flourish" included with the Main Kit and applied gesso, lightly rubbed it with blue chalk ink, then cut it in half, and placed the pieces on each side of the middle seam.

She layered several pieces of papers to make a photo mat, tucked in some tags, inked around a doily and placed it in the center to form the base for her photos.

The wreath chipboard came from her stash.  She painted it with the Art Alchemy metallique paint in "Steampunk Copper"from one of our previous kits,  then she embossed it with green embossing powder, then dry brushed some more of the paint on the top allowing some of the green to show through.  Once it was dry, she cut in in 2 pieces and placed them on the top and bottom corners of the paper layers.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
