Same kit.....different designers....different results

One of the things I LOVE about the Scraps Of Darkness and the Scraps Of Elegance designers is their diversity of styles....

Michelle, Kathy and I all received the Scraps Of Darkness Heirloom kit and our projects are all wonderfully done AND wonderfully different!

First up is one of mine.....

I chose to celebrate the love between mu husband and I

I chose the Blue Fern 'Timeless' papers and chipboard.

I created a flower cluster using the flowers from the main kit,
floral add on, and those cute little Craft Consortium Always & Forever resin flowers from the elements add on and some from previous kits.
They were all so pretty but not aged enough for me so I added some of the Lindy's Stamp Gang Moonshadow Mist in Moonlit Mulberry from the color add on

I also sprayed some doilies with the mist....

The title is Blue Fern Chipboard from the elements add on and the beaded flourish frame is from the SOD store

I covered them both in sand medium, then sprayed them with Lindy's Stamp Gang Moonshadow Mist in Moonlit Mulberry from the color add on, added
Lindy's Stamp Gang - Two-Toned Embossing Powder - Gilded Burgundy Brass and Midnight Pewter Obsidian from the color add on, and heat set it.

In the main kit is the really cool product - Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Antique Rose...it reminds me a lot of liquid pearls but I love the color and thickness....
I wanted it to be imperfect and look aged so I added quite a bit and hoped it would crack and it worked!

So Michelle chose also to celebrate love.....
The beautiful photo is of her Grandmother when she was 14 and a bridesmaid

 and her beautiful details

and finally today Kathy chose to create a layout featuring a couple of beautiful photos of her as a child....

She started with a paper from her stash then then next background layer, she used a gorgeous paper from Blue Fern Studio that was included in our Main Kit.  She punched along the edges then adhered this stunning ribbon which came in the Elements Add-On.   She layered on top of it a trim from her stash and used the new stencil from The Crafter's Workshop included in our Elements Add On with some modeling paste to add texture to the background.

Thanks for stopping by!
